A few years ago, I started walking on a more regular basis, meeting up with my brother and then, later on, some friends - mainly just to get some time away (with no phone signal) and to bag some peaks in the fresh air!
I meet up with my brother a couple of times a year. In between, we’d often climb peaks closer to our homes (one of us lives in the North East, the other near the Brecon Beacons).
When catching up, we found we often lost track of which peaks we’d bagged and where we wanted to go next, so I thought it’d be cool to build an app that allowed us to bag peaks, set challenges for the two of us and our mates, and share pictures of our adventures.
Long story short, I took this idea to my colleagues - luckily enough, a bunch of developers and digital marketers - and we turned this idea into a mobile app. The project got a little bigger than planned, and here it is: your dedicated app for logging all of your peak bagging activity. Whether you’re walking for a mindful escape or a physical challenge, you’re very welcome here.
I hope you enjoy being part of our community. We’re always looking for feedback on what we’ve done so far and what we could do in the future - just reach out through our Instagram page. We can’t wait to hear what you think.
